Think Pink
Our staff wore pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Day and raised a whopping £680. The cake sale, collection boxes, raffle prizes, props and games brought a tickle of joy and laughter to everyone! The staffroom was jetted out in pink and built great morale amongst the staff at SMC. Many members of our school community have been affected by cancer and this was a wonderful opportunity to help make a difference. Thank you for your generous donations towards a superb cause.
In addition to this, we have a staff prayer group which takes place every fortnight, whereby staff gather to pray, putting their intentions forward. Examples of this include staff who are sick and our St Margaret Clitherow community. The prayer box is placed in the Sanctuary. This is a place of worship which has been blessed by the Archbishop.
