Frequently Asked Questions

Admissions

How do I apply for a place for my child?

You are welcome to visit our school if you would like to. Please phone the Office to make an appointment for one of our tours, which respect the rules around numbers and social distancing.

To apply you need to complete  both the KCC  on line form www.kent.gov.uk  and the school's own admission form (SIF) which can be found on this website.

What is the closing date?

Both forms need to be completed by 15th January 2024.

My child is not a baptised Catholic, can I still apply?

Yes, we are an inclusive school and welcome applications from all families.

What is the percentage of Catholic children in school now?

There is approximately 45% baptised Catholic children across the school.

We don't attend church, do we still need to complete a Supplementary Information Form (SIF)?

It is better to complete a form even if you cannot declare Baptism/Dedication or have your form signed by a Priest , Vicar or Pastor.  We  use this form to rank the children and this means we can be accurate in our ranking of all the children against our Admissions Criteria. Please read the COVID addendum on our Admissions tab.

Where can I find the Admissions Criteria?

The Admissions Criteria are on the Latest News part of the website and also under the Admissions tab.
