PTA Fund-raising
After the inevitable restrictions on our normal activities due to COVID, the PTA is now back fund-raising and building community. This is virtually for the moment, but we hope to be seeing you all in reality very soon.
Even during lock down we have managed to sell second-hand uniform (with strict quarantining) via phone orders or messages on the gate. The system worked effectively and was so popular that we ran out of jumpers at one point. This option is still available, so please do contact the Office with any needs.
Quiz afternoon
We had a great afternoon at the PTA quiz in the Easter Holidays, with 19 teams joining in on the day, raising £315 for the PTA. Well done to the 'Super Sushi Crew' for winning the prize - a box of cupcakes kindly donated by Angel Bakes, closely followed by the Berry Family and the Krazy Kowals. Thank you to everyone who took part!
'Pop-up' Summer Fair afternoons
We held very successful themed after-school sales: home-made goods, plants, cakes and sweet treats. Well done to the PTA for their energy and initiatives.
Second-hand uniform
We held a final sale under the organising genius of Mrs Knight. As both her children are leaving at the end of the year, we are looking for someone else to take on this much-appreciated role.
Keep an eye out for our next events - we hope to be business as usual in the new school year.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
