All the children have a home school contact book which is very useful for parents to tell us how well their children have read to them that evening, what they have enjoyed and any change in collection arrangements. Parents can also request a meeting with their child's teacher by adding a note in this book and we will reply to you with a mutually convenient time.
We have formal parent consultations 3 times a year and a written report is sent home twice a year. In addition parents are welcome to come to our monthly drop ins which are frequently based around an area of the curriculum and to our regular Maths and English mornings.
Each seasonal term we send a curriculum letter home which details the main areas of learning for the term. This also is published on our website.
Our weekly newsletter from the Academy Principal is sent out by Parentmail each Friday and published on our website. This has news of exciting events which have happened during the week and advance notice of any events coming up.
All parents are invited to sign up to our Parentmail system, by providing us with their email address. This is our main way of sending information home.
If you do not have access to the internet, then please contact us for paper copies of any information we are sending home.
From time to time there is an unexpected change of arrangements on the day of an event eg cancellation of a sports fixture. In these circumstances we may also send a text to the relevant parents.
You can of course contact us through the email contact office@st-margaret-tonbridge.kent.sch.uk or by telephone 01732 358000.
