In the event of adverse weather conditions, we will always try to keep the school open if it is safe to do so. We would notify you via this dedicated website which will list school closures: http://www.kentclosures.co.uk/ . You can register with this website in advance for an alert but there is an SMS charge. Parentpay and the school website will also give information after 7.30am.

Should it be necessary to close the school at short notice, eg after pupils have already arrived, we will use our texting, Parentpay system and our school website to alert you. Please ensure we have your up-to-date contact details. If you are unsure please contact the school. We will look after pupils until parents can collect them. Many thanks.

  • Reflection

    Wed 17 Jan 2018

We wanted to share with you a Reflection from Pope Francis that we use at the beginning of our meetings.

    Reflection from Pope Francis

“This life will go by fast.

Don’t fight with people, don’t criticize your body so much, don’t complain so much.

Don’t lose sleep over your bills. Look for the person that makes you happy. If you make a mistake, let it go and keep seeking your happiness.

Enjoy, travel, enjoy your journeys, see new places, give yourself the pleasures you deserve. Allow dogs to get closer. Don’t put away the fine glassware. Utilise the new dinnerware; don’t save your favourite perfume, use it to go out with yourself; wear out your favourite sport shoes; repeat your favourite clothes.

So what? That’s not bad. Why not now? Why not pray now instead of waiting until before your sleep? Why not call now? Why not forgive now? We wait so long for Christmas; for Friday; or Reunions; for another year; for when I have money; for love to come; when everything is perfect…look…

Everything perfect doesn’t exist. Human beings can’t accomplish this because it simply was not intended to be completed here. Here is an opportunity to learn.

So take this challenge that is life and do it now…love more, forgive more, embrace more, love more intensely and leave the rest in God’s hands.”
