Lenten Promises
These were shared as part of our Lenten Liturgy in school. Each class discussed what being a blessing could mean and then decided how they would like to show this throughout Lent.
This Lent we will be a blessing to others by…
- listening when someone needs our help
- looking after property with extra care inside and outside
- encouraging everyone to reach their dreams
- being eco-friendly so that we take care of God’s creation
- by sharing
- by always being respectful
- by loving everyone equally and looking after our world; using less plastic, doing litter picks and turning off lights after ourselves
- making them smile by being helpful and caring
- by remembering not to take the little things for granted
- by not talking when we should be listening to show our good manners
- by loving everyone
- by being good listeners
- by being tolerant of others
- by being a good friend to those who are sad or worried
If we carry these out, we will most certainly all be blessings to those around us.
