ST MARGARET CLITHEROW CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL
This week has been very festive with KS2 Christmas lunch and KS1 class buffet party on Thursday. On Wednesday, Years 5 and 6 held a special Christmas luncheon for the Senior Citizens, which was huge success! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the lunch provided and were amply entertained by both the 5/6 pupils carolling, and the Reception Nativity play. We also had the pleasure of many school performances this week. KS1 held two evening performances of “The Christmas Code,” and Reception performed once again for their family and friends on Wednesday. Thank you so much to all those involved, as all events were exceptional and certainly enhanced our festive Christmas spirit!
Next week, Early Years and KS1 will enjoy their Christmas dinner, and KS2 will celebrate the festive season with their class buffet and party on Tuesday 18 December. KS2 may wear home clothes on this day, as part of the party festivities.
Please see the website for photos of the KS2 Christmas Dinner and Christmas Fair held this week.
Thank you once again to the PTA for organising a magical Christmas Fair for the children this morning. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event, including the chance to meet Father Christmas in his beautifully designed Grotto, and the opportunity to buy some fabulous presents for Christmas! All your time and effort both today and over the past few months are very much appreciated! We hope you enjoy the wonderful gifts that will appear under your tree.
Children from Reception to Yr 5 received the flu vaccinations on Tuesday. If your child was unwell or you did not complete the form, or indeed if your form was handed in late, your children will not have had the flu spray on the day (you will have received a form via your child to let you know that the vaccination was not given). If you would still like your child to receive the vaccination, please contact your surgery or the NHS flu vaccination team on 01303858985 or email: email@example.com to find out more details.
